WHY Celebrate?
Why Celebrate?
We celebrate because Musical Intervention has spent 10 years changing lives through the power of creativity, community, and music. For a decade, people navigating addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, and homelessness have found a safe place to express themselves, write their stories, and discover hope. We celebrate because thousands of individuals have walked through our doors and left stronger, more connected, and more confident in who they are.
We celebrate to honor the courage of every participant who has written a song in the face of struggle… every agency that has partnered with us… every community member who has lifted someone up… and every moment when music became a lifeline. This milestone represents resilience—not just ours as an organization, but the resilience of the entire recovery and mental health community we serve.
Most importantly, we celebrate because the work continues. This anniversary marks a new beginning as we transition into MI Studios, expand our home at 23 Temple Street, and build the next chapter of healing-centered creative programming. We celebrate to acknowledge what’s been accomplished—and to fuel the hope, connection, and transformation still ahead.
