On Friday, December 9, Musical Intervention will reveal the details of two new key partnerships with agencies in the social service sector and announce a new weekly schedule that re-establishes public walk-in hours in an inclusive, sober space for creativity, songwriting and performance.

Members of the media and general public are invited to its downtown location at 23 Temple Street in New Haven to meet staff and collaborators and view recent physical improvements. Attendees will be able to hear recordings of songs written by New Haven community members at a series of listening stations set up throughout the space. Other highlights of the Grand Re-Opening Celebration will include remarks from City officials and guest appearances by alumni of MI’s years-long Open Mic series who are now well-established musicians.

Place: 23 Temple St. New Haven, CT 06511 (adjacent to Temple Street Garage) 

Directions: The event is located directly on a city bus line and is within walking distance of the commuter trains and long-range bus depot at Union Station. Free and ample parking is also available in the Temple Street Garage. From the parking level, you would walk down to the street level to enter the Temple St. storefront between Crown and George.
